Wi-Fi Surveys & Wireless Network Design
Engineered coverage, capacity, and seamless roaming for offices, warehouses, campuses, and government facilities. ALOKAZOR plans, validates, and fixes enterprise Wi-Fi using Ekahau and NetSpot, so your network performs the way it was designed to, on day one and after.

Why it matters
Stop guessing where access points should go.
Dead zones, dropped calls, slow scanners, and help-desk tickets usually trace back to a network that was never designed against real walls, real interference, and real user density. Our surveys measure what is actually happening in your space and turn it into a design you can build and verify.
Coverage you can prove
Signal strength, SNR, and overlap mapped room by room against agreed design targets.
Interference removed
Co-channel contention, rogue APs, and non-Wi-Fi noise found and mitigated with spectrum data.
Capacity for real users
Designs sized for device counts, voice, video, IoT, and handheld scanners, not just square footage.
Secure by design
SSID, VLAN, and authentication recommendations aligned to enterprise and public-sector security requirements.
Survey services
The full Wi-Fi lifecycle.
Choose a single engagement or the end-to-end path from predictive design through post-install validation.
Predictive design
Floor plans and wall attenuation modeled in Ekahau to produce AP counts, placements, channel plans, and a BOM before any hardware is purchased. Ideal for new construction and budget planning.
On-site pre-deployment
Live measurements with a test AP in representative areas to confirm the predictive model in warehouses, high ceilings, and dense or unusual construction, before a single permanent AP goes in.
Passive & active validation
Post-installation walkthroughs verifying coverage, throughput, and roaming against your requirements, with a signed report for the owner or GC and a permanent record for compliance.
Troubleshooting & spectrum analysis
Root-cause investigation of dropped connections, slow performance, and roaming failures, including non-Wi-Fi interference from equipment, radar, and nearby machinery.
Remediation & optimization
AP relocation, power and channel tuning, band steering, and configuration changes, followed by a re-survey that proves the fix held and performance targets are met.
Install & cabling support
Structured cabling, AP mounting, PoE switching, and multi-site rollouts delivered by the same ALOKAZOR team that designed the network: one scope, one accountability.
Our toolkit
Ekahau and NetSpot, used the right way.
We match the tool to the job: Ekahau for enterprise-grade design and validation, NetSpot for fast assessments and smaller sites. Either way you receive clear, standards-based reporting.
Primary platform
Ekahau AI Pro + Sidekick 2
Our platform of choice for enterprise, multi-floor, high-density, and 6 GHz environments.
- Predictive modeling with wall materials, ceiling heights, and AP antenna patterns
- Calibrated dual-radio measurements and integrated spectrum analysis
- Wi-Fi 6, 6E (6 GHz), and Wi-Fi 7 design support
- Heatmaps for RSSI, SNR, channel overlap, data rate, and capacity
- Vendor-neutral: Cisco/Meraki, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Ruckus, Ubiquiti and more
Fast assessments
NetSpot
Efficient surveys for branch offices, retail locations, and quick health checks.
- Passive and active heatmap surveys on floor plans
- Discovery mode for nearby networks and rogue access points
- Throughput and signal-to-noise analysis across 2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz
- Fast turnaround for portfolio-wide or multi-site baselines
- Cost-effective for smaller spaces and recurring performance checks
Our process
Four steps from assessment to sign-off.
- 01
Discovery & requirements
We review floor plans, user and device counts, applications (voice, video, scanners, IoT), and agree on measurable coverage and capacity targets before a single measurement is taken.
- 02
Design or field survey
Predictive model built in Ekahau, then on-site measurements with Ekahau Sidekick 2 or NetSpot as the engagement requires. Both tools produce calibrated, documentable results.
- 03
Analysis & recommendations
Heatmaps, channel and power plans, AP placements, and a bill of materials, explained in plain language for your IT team and leadership, not just your engineers.
- 04
Deploy, validate & sign off
Optional installation by ALOKAZOR technicians, followed by a validation survey that confirms every target was met and produces documentation for project closeout.
What you receive
Every engagement closes with documentation.
Your team, your GC, and your auditors all walk away with something they can use, not just a verbal recommendation.
- Signal (RSSI) and SNR heatmaps
- Channel and co-channel overlap maps
- Data rate and throughput results
- Spectrum and interference findings
- AP placement drawings with mounting notes
- Recommended AP models and BOM
- Channel, power, and SSID plan
- Executive summary and remediation list
- Native Ekahau project file (on request)
- Validation sign-off for project closeout
Common questions
Wi-Fi survey FAQ
What is the difference between a predictive and an on-site survey?
A predictive survey models your space in software to plan AP counts and placement before hardware is purchased. An on-site survey takes live measurements in the building to confirm the design or diagnose an existing network. Most enterprise projects benefit from both: predictive first for budget and planning, on-site to validate before go-live.
When should I use Ekahau versus NetSpot?
We recommend Ekahau for enterprise, multi-floor, high-density, warehouse, and 6 GHz projects where precision and spectrum analysis matter. NetSpot works well for smaller sites, branch office baselines, and quick health checks. We recommend the right fit during discovery, so you should not need to make that call yourself.
Do you work with our existing wireless vendor?
Yes. Our surveys and designs are vendor-neutral. We support Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, and other enterprise platforms. We design to your requirements, not to a product we want to sell.
How long does a survey take?
A single office floor can often be completed in a day. Large campuses, warehouses, and multi-site programs are scheduled in phases. Every proposal includes a timeline so you can plan around the work.
Can ALOKAZOR also install and cable the access points?
Yes. We provide structured cabling, AP mounting, switching, and multi-site rollout services, all under the same project scope. After installation, we run a validation survey and produce a closeout report confirming the network meets the original design targets.
